Asus has launched its latest 14-inch laptop, the Zenbook A14, globally. Despite weighing less than 1 kg, this lightweight device packs impressive features, including a 70 Wh battery, dual cooling fans, an OLED display, and Qualcomm’s cutting-edge Snapdragon X2 Elite chipset.
The Zenbook A14 is now available in more markets. Earlier this week, Asus introduced Snapdragon X2-powered models in the US, initially priced at $1,149. However, the company quickly adjusted the pricing, increasing the cost of this year’s model by over 17%.
Interestingly, last year’s Zenbook A14, currently priced at $769 on Amazon, is now significantly cheaper than the new version. In other regions, the latest Zenbook A14 has not seen immediate price hikes. For example, in the UK, it is priced at £1,599 (~$1,785), which includes VAT. This configuration features 16 GB of RAM, a 1 TB SSD, and a Zebriskie Beige finish.
In the Eurozone, the Zenbook A14 is available for €1,999 ($1,945), slightly more expensive than in the UK. However, this version offers 32 GB of RAM while maintaining the same Snapdragon X2 Elite X2E-88-100 chipset. In Australia, the higher-end model is priced at AUD 3,699 ($2,365). Asus also offers a variant with 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage in Iceland Grey for AUD 3,499 (~$2,235).
