Apple: Foxconn Hires 50,000 Workers as Apple Prepares for the Launch of iPhone 16

Apple is preparing for the highly awaiting launch of the iphone 16 series which is set to take place in less than a month. With expectations on the increase the Apple Company is getting ready for a boost in sales this year. Foxconn Apple’s primary manufacturer ramped up the capabilities of the production to meet the expected demands from the people.

In recent report it is discovered that foxconn has began a mass production of the awaited iphone 16 with LG and Samsung helping to supply the screens. In order to make the production higher, foxconn has hired 50,000 workers in addition to Zhengzhou factory, making it the largest in the world. The new hired workers were offered an approximate wage of $3.52 per hour.

The reason behind the addition of more workers to the factory was as a result of Apple’s expectations that the iphone 16 sales will surpass it’s predecessors by an average of 10%. Apple plans to sell 90 million units of the iphone 16 in the second half of 2024 with the help of the new features and advancements in Artificial Intelligence (AI).
