A new Amazfit software update, version 3.24.6.2, has been reported by users of the Balance 2 smartwatch. The release is said to bring support for a running accessory and improvements for those who also use the brand’s Helio Strap. Plus, the company has tackled an issue linked to the new BioCharge feature.
Amazfit is now releasing software version 3.24.6.2 to Balance 2 wearers. The most recent update happened in the end of August 2025, when this device acquired the new BioCharge feature.
The new Balance 2 version also adds the Stryd accessory which is a wearable device that attaches to your shoe and helps users monitor running data. Amazfit claims that the device will provide a more detailed and reliable data compared to the smartwatch. The change log also reports that there was a problem with the BioCharge data that was not being shown as anticipated and this was corrected.
The Balance 2 is enhanced with a number of upgrades in version 3.24.6.2. They are more accurate notifications of breaking the Wi-Fi connection and improvements to the content of the reminders attached to the Activity app, as well as improved accuracy according to the users, who wear a Helio Strap at the same time: in this case, the algorithm of the device is also improved. The name of the particular algorithm used is not disclosed by the company, but it is probably connected to such health indicators as heart rate.
