Initial details for a new Amazfit smartwatch have leaked online. With technical specifications, promotional pictures and European launch pricing already revealed, it seems that the Amazfit Active Max will be launching soon too.
First and earlier today, we had observed that the so-called Amazfit A2557 smart watch had been sighted online. It seems that nowadays, Amazfit is planning to release this device under the name of Active Max even though the Active 2 Square is less than six months old (curr. $119 on Amazon).
Probably obtained through early retail information, Roland Quandt cites that Amazfit has fixed the Active Max with electronic screen of 1.5-inch, which is greater than the 1.32-inch equivalent on the Active 2. The 1.5-inch display is an OLED panel, which is also claimed to be able to project at 480 x 480 pixels. According to the New Amazfit smartwatch pictures Quandt has provided, the display has rather slender bezels as well, or ones covered up by impersonated chapter rings.

Besides, Quandt suggests that the Active Max is 50 metres waterproof and has a 576 mAh battery inside. Contextually, the Active 2 with its rated 270 mAh capacity has more than a week of battery life. So we doubt that The Active Max is going to be at the two week mark upon its launch.
Individually, the Active Max allegedly has Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, and NFC as well as 4 GB of inbuilt storage. Quandt further notes that the Active Max will be sold to the Eurozone market at 169.90 by Amazfit. The price of the Active Max should hit the US at approximately $169.99 given the price strategy of the company which is the Active 2 strategy.
