Samsung has introduced two new mid-range smartphones: the Galaxy A57 5G and the Galaxy A37 5G. Both devices feature cutting-edge 4 nm Exynos processors, an upgraded Image Signal Processor (ISP) for better photos, and, in the case of the Galaxy A57 5G, a more compact design.
These phones run on One UI 8.5, keeping the familiar design of their predecessors while offering notable improvements.

Samsung Galaxy A57 5G: Slimmer, Brighter, and Packed with Features
The Galaxy A57 5G brings the most significant upgrades in this lineup. Key highlights include:
- Processor: New Exynos 1680 4 nm octa-core SoC.
- Durability: IP68 water and dust resistance.
- Connectivity: Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 6.0.
- Display: A brighter 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED screen with 120 Hz refresh rate and 1,900 nits peak brightness.
Samsung has also made the Galaxy A57 5G more compact. It’s now slimmer (6.9 mm), lighter (179 g), and has thinner bezels, while still retaining the same 6.7-inch display size.
Camera System
The camera setup remains unchanged from the Galaxy A56, featuring:
- 50 MP main camera with OIS.
- 12 MP ultra-wide lens.
- 5 MP macro camera.
- 12 MP front-facing camera.
However, Samsung claims the new ISP enhances photo quality with vivid colors, reduced noise, and improved portrait shots using AI-powered subject separation.
Build and Battery
The Galaxy A57 5G retains its metallic frame, Gorilla Glass Victus+ on both sides, and a 5,000 mAh battery. It supports 45 W fast charging, though the charger is sold separately.
Samsung Galaxy A37 5G: Subtle Upgrades

The Galaxy A37 5G is a modest update to the Galaxy A36, with a few key improvements:
- Processor: New Exynos 1480 4 nm octa-core SoC.
- Durability: IP68 water and dust resistance.
- ISP: Enhanced for better low-light photos with sharper details and improved color accuracy.
What’s Unchanged?
The Galaxy A37 5G keeps the same 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display, triple-camera system, and 12 MP front camera as its predecessor. However, like the Galaxy A57, its screen now reaches 1,900 nits peak brightness.
Unlike the A57, the A37 retains its chunky bezels, 196 g weight, and overall size.
Battery and Software
The Galaxy A37 5G shares the same 5,000 mAh battery, 45 W fast charging, and One UI 8.5 as the Galaxy A57. Based on Android 16 QPR2, One UI 8.5 introduces a refreshed design and new AI features like Circle to Search.
