If you are in the e-commerce business, you will understand what the term Dropship means. That is, standing between the main supplier and the buyer of an item. Dropshipping eliminates the need to have the item in hand. You can simply purchase it from the supplier and have it shipped directly to the buyer.

So, what is Samsung attempting here? Samsung Dropship is a new app from the South Korean company. It does not imply that Samsung is entering the drop shipping business, nor is it a dropshipping plug-in like Ali Dropship.

The Samsung Dropship app is simply a tool for transferring files from your phone to other phones. To put it simply, this app allows you to share apps from your Samsung device with other devices.

This file-sharing app works very differently than the others in the system. The Samsung Dropship app allows you to send files up to 5GB in size to other devices.

Another way this app works differently, and, of course, what sets it apart from the rest, is this. The new Samsung Dropship app allows you to share files with multiple devices at the same time.

How Does The Samsung Dropship App Works?

Every day, the Dropship app allows you to share up to 5GB of files. It works by uploading files from the host device and then generating a QR code. The files are delivered to any device that scans the QR code. That’s all there is to it.

You do not have to own a Samsung device in order to receive the file. Regardless of your platform, whether iOS, Android, HarmonyOS, or others. The device hosting the file, however, must be a Samsung smartphone.

How To Get The Samsung Dropship App

To run this app on your phone, you must first have a device running One UI 5.0, which is based on Android 13. Second, because it is a new app, Samsung has restricted it to South Korea for the time being.

The app is not yet available on the Google Play Store, but if you live in South Korea, you can get it from the Galaxy Store. And, as I previously stated, you can receive the files with any smartphone. The only requirement is that the host device be a Samsung smartphone.
