Xiaomi has expedited the unveiling of its Xiaomi 14 series, moving it up from December to early November. As reported by Digital Chat Station on Weibo, it’s highly likely that the 14 series will make its debut prior to November 11, coinciding with the popular Singles’ Day sales event.
The Xiaomi 13 Pro and Xiaomi 13 were released on December 14. According to the insider, the impressive sales performance of the 13 series serves as the primary catalyst for Xiaomi’s decision to announce the 14 series earlier. Remarkably, the 13 series managed to achieve its sales targets within just 9 months.
Another key factor in the Xiaomi 14 series equation is the impending launch of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, scheduled for October 24. This suggests that the Xiaomi 14 series could be among the first to feature this cutting-edge chipset.
Regarding specifications, the Xiaomi 14 devices are expected to boast a larger main camera sensor, specifically a 50MP 1/1.28” sensor.
Battery-wise, the Xiaomi 14 is anticipated to sport a 4,860mAh battery with 90W wired and 50W wireless charging capabilities. Meanwhile, the 14 Pro is set to pack a 5,000mAh battery with an impressive 120W wired charging and 50W wireless charging support.
