Elon Musk, the CEO of Twitter, is still working to improve revenue. All customers received a Blue Checkmark when the company just introduced its Blue membership. However, everyone’s accounts became validated as a result of this sponsored service, which created havoc. Musk has taken a backseat and temporarily suspended the Blue subscription because of this. You won’t have to wait long, though. On December 2nd, Twitter Blue will return, this time in a variety of hues.
Elon Musk says Twitter Blue with Gold, Grey, Blue checkmarks to relaunch on December 2
Twitter’s authentication process is changing as of December 2. Previously, there was just one blue checkmark; today, there are three: gold, gray, and blue. Elon Musk announced in a Tweet that Twitter will offer a gold checkmark for businesses, a grey checkmark for the government, and a blue checkmark for people (famous or not). Additionally, he stated that before the check is activated, all validated accounts would undergo manual authentication.
On December 2, the business was “tentatively” deploying its verification service, according to Musk’s response to a user on Twitter who apologized for the program’s delay. “All confirmed accounts will be manually authenticated before check activation. Gold checks are for businesses, grey checks are for the government, and blue checks are for people (famous or not. Painful, but essential,” Musk wrote in the tweet.
Sorry for the delay, we’re tentatively launching Verified on Friday next week.
