Mydrivers has released the results of its battery life testing for the iPhone 13 versus the iPhone 14, the iPhone 13 Pro over the iPhone 14 Pro, and the iPhone 13 Pro Max versus the iPhone 14 Pro Max. The tests were carried out at 25°C, with the smartphones connected to the same Wi-Fi network, the default volume set to 50%, the brightness of the screen fixed at the same level.
The Apple iPhone 14 Pro consumed the most energy throughout the 30-minute test in Douyin, the Chinese equivalent of Tiktok, yet still had 97% of it left. Other models spend between 1% and 2%. A 30-minute Weibo test, 1080p video playback, and other testing followed. After two hours of nonstop use, only the iPhone 13 Pro Max had 90% battery life remaining. Second place went to the 14 Pro Max, which still holds 87% of the vote.

After another 30 minutes of WeChat video talks, cloud music streaming, and WeChat reading, the iPhone 14 Pro was the first to drop below 60%. The iPhone13 Pro Max still has 72% of the charge. After 30 minutes of 4K video recording and downloading the Genshin Impact installer, the iPhone 13 Pro Max’s battery life was 50%. The iPhone 14 Pro Max, which came in second, had 45%. With 35% of the vote, the iPhone 13 finished in third place. Compared to the iPhone 14 and iPhone 13 Pro, which both had a 27% share.
The iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro stopped functioning after that. Additionally, the overall duration was 6 hours, 47 minutes. The battery life of the iPhone 14 Pro hasn’t changed significantly when compared to its predecessor.
