The iPhone 14 Pro Max Has A Lower Battery Life Than iPhone 13 Series

Mydrivers has released the results of its battery life testing for the iPhone 13 versus the iPhone 14, the iPhone 13 Pro over the iPhone 14 Pro, and the iPhone 13 Pro Max versus the iPhone 14 Pro Max. The tests were carried out at 25°C, with the smartphones connected to the same Wi-Fi network, the default volume set to 50%, the brightness of the screen fixed at the same level.

The Apple iPhone 14 Pro consumed the most energy throughout the 30-minute test in Douyin, the Chinese equivalent of Tiktok, yet still had 97% of it left. Other models spend between 1% and 2%. A 30-minute Weibo test, 1080p video playback, and other testing followed. After two hours of nonstop use, only the iPhone 13 Pro Max had 90% battery life remaining. Second place went to the 14 Pro Max, which still holds 87% of the vote.
