Samsung has impressively quickly upgraded nearly all of its Android-based products to the most recent version. There are only a small number of cellphones that haven’t received the update, and One UI 5 will soon be their reward for waiting. The affordable Galaxy A04s is the most recent and most likely one of the final Samsung smartphones to receive the Android 13-based update.
One of the most affordable smartphones created by Samsung, the Galaxy A04s, was just released a few months ago and runs Android 12. The most recent Android 13 update is now being applied to the device, and the firmware version is A047MUBU1BVK5. The update is now being seeded in Panama, but it should soon spread to other areas.
The One UI Core 5.0 is used on the A04s instead of the standard version because it is a more affordable model. With a few exceptions, it is essentially the same as the standard One UI 5. In essence, the absence of necessary hardware prevents the smartphone from supporting some of the latest Android 13 features.
The update also includes a security fix for November 2022. The device will receive the upcoming security patch in Q1 2023 because it is featured on Samsung’s quarterly update schedule.
The most recent update is being released by Samsung in stages as usual, so it will take some time for it to reach every device. You may upgrade your Galaxy A04s to Android 13 by navigating to Settings, tapping on the Software update option, and choosing Download and install if you reside in Panama and own a Galaxy A04s.
