Samsung has been aggressive in updating their Galaxies all across the world to OneUI 5.0, which is essentially Android 13. The Galaxy A22, A23, and A23 5G are the newest additions.

In 2021, the Galaxy A22 debuted with OneUI 3.1 based on Android 11, then in 2022, OneUI 4.0 with Android 12 was added. With the October security patch, it is now running firmware version A225FXXU3CVK3. Europe, specifically Southeast Europe, Spain, Switzerland, the Baltic region, the Czech Republic, and the Nordic region, as well as Albania, Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Macedonia, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, and the United Kingdom, have the firmware live.

The firmware versions for the Galaxy A23 and Galaxy A23 5G are A235FXXU1BVK8 and A236BXXU2BVK7, respectively. Russia, Germany, and possibly more European countries have the update available.

A firmware update is always a gradual process, therefore it could take some time for it to reach every device. If you like updating your phone yourself, check under the settings menu of your device or use the source URLs provided below to manually download the update.
