Samsung is expected to unveil its new Galaxy Watch6 family at an August event, alongside its next-gen foldables. While we await the summer release, new details about the devices are emerging, except for the Pro model.
The Galaxy Watch6 and Galaxy Watch6 Classic will both come in two sizes, with a recent certification listing from a regulator in China revealing that they will share battery capacities for the smaller and larger sizes. The 40mm Galaxy Watch6 and 42mm Galaxy Watch6 Classic will have a 300mAh battery, while the 44mm Galaxy Watch6 and 46mm Galaxy Watch6 Classic will have a 425mAh battery.
Interestingly, these capacities are higher than those seen in last year’s Galaxy Watch5, which featured a 284mAh battery for the 40mm size and a 410mAh battery for the 44mm size. Rumors suggest that Samsung may bring back the rotating bezel for the Galaxy Watch6 Pro, but it could also feature in the Classic line, which may explain the 2mm increase in size compared to the vanilla models.
