The Android 13-based One UI 5.0 version brings significant user interface changes to your Samsung Galaxy device, which you can see in the first look here. Beating Google, the South Korean tech behemoth offers up to four major OS and One UI updates to flagship and select A series phones released in/after 2021.

We’re sharing the Samsung Android 13 Eligible Device List on this page so you can see if your Galaxy smartphone or tablet is ready for the latest One UI 5.0 update. It is worth noting, however, that the company intends to deliver the Android 12L-based One UI 4.1.1 update to select models.

Android 13 Stable Release

Google released the stable Android 13 update to Pixel smartphones on August 15. At the same time, the company confirmed that Samsung and other smartphone manufacturers will begin rolling out the Android 13 OS to their devices later this year.

In terms of flagships, the Galaxy S20 and Note 20 series devices will receive the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 as their final major update, while the affordable models of the Galaxy Note 10 and S10 series, the Galaxy Note 10 Lite and Galaxy S10 Lite, will also receive the same treatment.

Along with the flagships, the Galaxy A51 and Galaxy A71 devices will receive their third and final OS upgrade in the form of Android 13. Phones and tablets released in/after 2021 will almost certainly receive the major One UI 5.0 software, as Samsung provides at least two OS versions for each model.

Starting with the Galaxy S22 series, Samsung plans to send out the official Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update in October of this year. The next One UI version will likely begin to be gradually expanded by the Korean phone manufacturer later this year, and qualifying models will continue to receive it until the third quarter of 2023.
