Xiaomi recently unveiled its highly anticipated Redmi Note 13 Pro+ in China. This exciting addition to the Redmi lineup offers a range of impressive features:
Xiaomi’s design choices for the Pro+ are noteworthy. It sports a curved screen and a distinctive camera setup. The purple variant boasts a vegan leather back, while the black and white models feature AG frosted glass backs. What’s more, the Note 13 Pro+ proudly carries an IP68 rating, making it the first Redmi phone with this level of water and dust resistance.
Upfront, you’ll find a curved 6.67-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1220 x 2712 pixels and an impressive 120Hz refresh rate. This panel supports 12-bit colors and incorporates a 1,920Hz PWM dimming feature. With a peak brightness of up to 1800 nits in auto mode, it’s shielded by Gorilla Glass Victus. The device also offers an optical in-display fingerprint scanner and a 16MP front-facing camera for selfies.
Under the hood, Xiaomi opted for MediaTek’s powerful Dimensity 7200-Ultra chipset, coupled with up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. To ensure optimal thermal management, Xiaomi included a substantial 4000mm² graphite sheet and VC heat sink.
The camera setup on the back is impressive, featuring Samsung’s ISOCELL HP3 – a massive 200MP sensor (1/1.4” size and 0.56µm pixels), the same sensor used in last year’s Redmi Note 12 Pro+. Complementing this powerhouse sensor are the 8MP ultrawide module and a 2MP macro camera.
Software-wise, the Note 13 Pro+ runs on MIUI 14 based on Android 13. The device is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with support for blazing-fast 120W fast charging. It also boasts stereo speakers and an infrared port for added convenience.
Pricing for the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ starts at CNY 1,999 ($273) for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant and goes up to CNY 2,299 ($314) for the 16GB RAM and 512GB storage model. Stay tuned to Tech Mansion for more tech updates!
