In a groundbreaking move, Samsung has unveiled its latest Galaxy Book4 series, a lineup of laptops that promises to redefine the user experience with cutting-edge technology. The focus on AI, powered by Intel Core Ultra processors, sets these laptops apart in a competitive market.

The Galaxy Book4 series introduces the Intel Core Ultra 9, integrating a fast CPU, GPU, and NPU in a single package. Notably, the Nvidia RTX 4070 (8GB) takes on AI tasks, showcasing its prowess in image generation and DLSS for gaming. Users can also opt for the Core Ultra 7 and RTX 4050 (6GB) configurations.

One notable feature is the improved cooling system, boasting an 11% wider vapor chamber and dual fans with uneven blade spacing. Memory options range from 16GB to 64GB (LPDDR5X), with storage options of 512GB, 1TB, or 2TB SSDs, complemented by an expansion slot.

The Galaxy Book4 series eliminates the touchscreen divide seen in its predecessor, offering touch-capable Dynamic AMOLED 2X displays across all models. The new Vision Booster and anti-reflective technology enhance outdoor legibility.

At the helm is the Samsung Galaxy Book4 Ultra, a 16” model with a 2,880 x 1,800px display (16:10), featuring a 48-120Hz variable refresh rate and 120% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space. Samsung emphasizes improved power efficiency and faster charging, achieving a 55% charge in just 30 minutes using a 140W adapter.

Audio enthusiasts will appreciate the quad speakers from AKG with Dolby Atmos support, providing an immersive experience. AI contributes to noise cancellation for the dual microphone array, offering “studio quality.” Additionally, users with Galaxy Buds2 Pro can leverage Bluetooth LE Audio for higher-quality audio and reduced latency.

Connectivity options include HDMI 2.1 ports, Thunderbolt 4, and USB Type A, with the Second Screen feature enabling users to transform a tablet into a monitor. The Samsung Galaxy Book4 Pro, available in 14” and 16” versions, offers configuration flexibility, including an Intel Core Ultra 7 or Ultra 5 CPU, Intel Arc graphics, and varying RAM and SSD options.

The Samsung Galaxy Book4 Pro 360, exclusively in 16”, weighs 1.66kg and features a display with hinges that rotate 360°, transforming it into a Windows tablet. With the inclusion of an S Pen, this model provides a versatile user experience.

Emphasizing sustainability, the Galaxy Book4 series incorporates recycled materials such as aluminum, glass, and plastic. With a subsequent global rollout, Samsung plans to launch the series in South Korea in January 2024. Stay tuned for pricing details, as these laptops are poised to set new standards in AI-driven computing.
